A lifelong Terp, he earned his bachelor’s degree in economics at the University of Maryland, College Park, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland Carey School of Law. While in law school, Jake developed a strong foundation in the legal field, particularly in the concepts surrounding wills and trusts, which he enjoyed the most.
