Michelle serves as outside general counsel for small to medium size businesses. She strives to develop cross functional working relationships with her clients in diverse fields ranging from government subcontracting, tech & cyber security, health care, and service industries. She works closely with clients to provide drafting, negotiation and advisement services for a variety of corporate transactions. She also assists with entity formation, Federal trademark and copyright protection, and employee handbooks.

Prior to joining HWK Law Group, Michelle owned and managed a solo corporate practice. She also has experience in insurance coverage analysis, professional liability defense and commercial real estate transactions. Before practicing law, Michelle worked in the field of public relations in both the building and health care industries.

Michelle resides in Ruxton with her daughter. She enjoys Disney World, volunteering with the Chesapeake Shakespeare Company, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
